It is hot, and I love it! Summer is not merely my favorite time of year, it is my favorite of everything. Last night our family camped in the backyard, all four of us in the tent, and had a blast. The children did a great job swimming at the neighborhood wading pool yesterday, and the forecast calls for more swimming this afternoon.

Dylan has been attending his park program for several weeks and we still have several more weeks of structured summertime fun to look forward to. The Fourth of July is just around the corner, the local elementary school serves up a free lunch program, and everything worth doing in the F-M area is a short bike ride away.

The Spring is dead! Long live the summer.
